I really hate that ‘It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown’ and ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ aren’t broadcast on regular television stations anymore. There was nothing like the excitement of waiting for these and watching them with your family. I couldn’t wait for that theme music to start or for it to come back on after commercials.

Happy Wednesday Christmas friends!

We got a good rain shower yesterday and it’s a cloudy morning. The air is nice and cool. I have a helper today. A young man who needs some work is cleaning windows for me. It’ll be great to have that task done before the holidays. And it’s so good to see a young person get out there and work like this. His parents are raising him right!

Good evening, Christmas Friends!

I think I forgot to post that I would be away for a week. We went to Detroit to visit our daughter. We had such a good time that I hated to come back home. But here we are, back at the homestead.

Have a great night!

We went to Bronners while we were in Michigan, and it was AWESOME!!! We were there for four hours, and I know I missed a lot. You could spend an hour just looking at the Advent calendars alone. And then there are all the ornaments in sections by country. Holy cow! So many. As I walked around sipping on a hot chocolate and listening to Christmas music, I thought, This has to be as close to heaven I will ever get here on earth. It was pure magic. Highly recommend.

Happy Monday Christmas friends!

Thankful to get to spend a few days with our daughter and friends. We had a great trip seeing some new sights and visiting some of our old favorites along the way. Now I’m really looking forward to Thanksgiving break.
