Well, today may be the day. The last day of this year that we will reach 90F. The forecast says 91F. But after today, no more 90s are in the forecast as far as the eye can see. I sure hope so. I'm ready to close the pool and call it quits. I'm ready for some cooler weather. And so is my A/C unit. Not too much going on today except work. So I better get to it.

The weatherman must have heard all of my grumbling. Our forecast has changed dramatically. Today will be sunny with stray thunderstorms and a high of 87F. But after today, our high temperature doesn't get above 82F for ten days. I am shocked. I guess we'll have to see if that holds up. I sure hope so. Today, a bunch of us from work are going out to eat at the local community college. They have the best buffet restaurant I've ever eaten in. It's run and staffed by the college. And it's cheap too.

It will be a Fall-like day here with sun, then some rain, and a high of 83F. We finally have some cooler weather. I love it! Tonight we're having Panera Bread for supper. I love their Autumn Squash soup.
We are enjoying some beautiful weather! Todays high is only 75 degrees. With a steady breeze blowing I’ve actually been cold. But after the summer highs we’ve been through I am loving this weather. Of course cooler weather means the urge to bake. Just put a loaf of banana nut bread in the oven.

Wow! We're halfway through September already. Time is flying by. Today will be cooler and rainy with a high of 78F. I thought it might be late October before I wrote that sentence. But we're being blessed by some nice Fall-like weather right now. Past all that, it's just another work day.
