Oh, what a day! Got to work this morning and took care of all the usual stuff. Then sat down at my desk and started working. Everything was going great. Then at 8:00 AM, my back muscles on the right-hand side tightened up very rapidly. After a few stretches didn't help, I went downstairs to the medical department. They put me on a heating pad and then had me do some stretching. They applied some Biofreeze, gave me some Advil, and told me to come back later if I needed to. I was feeling a little better, so back to work I went. By 9:30, I was in so much pain, I gave up and went home to crawl into bed. Woke up at noon and was still in pain. Michelle came home and took me to the ER. KIDNEY STONE. I couldn't believe it. I've never had one. It is a 2 mm stone that is very close to passing. They gave me some great pain meds and Flomax. I've been pain-free since I left the hospital. So now I'm drinking a lot of water and waiting. And praying the pain does not come back. Like I said, what a day! I hope your day was a great one!

Summer has arrived for us. Temps at 90 degrees but it feels like upper 90s to 100 degrees. And the humidity is crazy bad. I did get the pool cleaned and some of my outside work done before the heat got too bad. I filled up my hummingbird feeders. Christmas Crazy it’s sad that you guys aren’t seeing hummingbirds there. I just love them. One little bird came to drink from a feeder as I was still hanging it up.

I've been extremely blessed. I passed the stone and didn't even know it. I've been pain-free since Wednesday night. I worked from home yesterday just in case, but all is well now.
