Good morning everyone!

Went to Sunday School this morning then came home because Michelle wasn't feeling well. She just needs some rest and me to pamper her. Both can be easily accomplished today.

My Dawgs didn't play so well in the second half of the game last night and took a hard loss. Redemption may be ours in December at the conference championship. Fingers crossed.

We had a low into the 40's or low 50's last night. It's still a little cool in the house right now. My hands and nose are cold. But I won't turn on the heat quite yet. The long range forecast looks like I'll be able to wait until November. That'll be nice.

I might have a fire in the pit tonight if it cools off soon enough.

Today I was corrected when I mentioned needing a 'zen moment' to relax. Did you know that saying is 'boomer passe'?! I didn't. The new woke phrase is "a moment of hygge'. What?! I replied -- who knows what that means? So this behind-the-times Boomer will just stay that way because I am tired of these vocabulary changes when they make absolutely no sense at all.

Church was beautiful today and so was prayer & bible study on Nehemiah. Time to get the table set for dinner. CC enjoy the fire pit!!

Good morning all!

After nine days off I'm back at work. And it feels great. NOT!
I loved my time off with Michelle. We had a lot of fun. And I'm really good at vacationing. I just need to find someone that will pay me to do it.

We'll be in the low 80's for highs and the low 60's for lows this week. Not too bad.
For those parts of the country that are starting to see snow, I'm envious.

Chilly and rainy and very foggy this morning. Rainy days put me in the mood for Christmas!

My dd who never makes a Christmas list is making a Christmas list. And the best part is she tells me as she adds to it so I’m able to pick up things along.

Our Samaritans Purse Christmas gift catalog came in a couple days ago. Now we get the fun of going through it and picking out the projects we wanna support.

It’s time to buy my Christmas stamps and pick up the mailing boxes I’m gonna need from the post office.

A Facebook friend of mine posted that there are only 9 Friday’s left until Christmas. And even with me keeping up with the days until Christmas I was still wowed by how close we are.

I just noticed I’m a Christmas bow maker now. Woohoo! I’m moving on up.

The Holiday Delights stamps came out the last of September. I’m using the Winter Scenes stamps and they came out on Friday. A Snowy Day forever stamps are still available and I think I’ll get a book of them too.

Another wet and foggy mess here this morning. Good thing it’s not Christmas Eve because I’m not sure that Rudolph’s nose could cut through this. I need some sunshine in my life.

I bought my first carton of eggnog. It’s Halloween eggnog. Exactly the same as Christmas just in different packaging.
