Good morning, Christmas Friends!

It's a new week with the same weather—hot, humid, and highs in the mid to upper 90s. I'm staying inside with the A/C. Other than work, there's nothing else going on today.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!!!

We had the most bizarre restaurant experience this weekend. To make a long, crazy story short when it was all over and we got up to pay the well over $100 check we were told it was all on the house and asked to please eat there again. In all seriousness our server could really use some prayers because she’s really going through some stuff.

It’s hot! Like really hot! Like relentlessly hot! We’ve got no rain in sight which means we’re feeding daily to supplement the cattle. Thankfully the ponds are all good from all the rain we have had.

Nothing like starting your day with broke down equipment. Looks like I’ll get to be the parts getting girl this afternoon.
I picked the garden this morning and I have lots of ripe tomatoes to can. I also have more squash and cucumbers for relish. I love when some of my home canned goods make it up our Thanksgiving and Christmas tables. I have a neighbor who every year brings by a basket with jars of her homed canned jelly at Christmas time. It always makes us smile.

We’ve been shopping for my daughter’s dorm room since she graduated and I swear the list grows everyday. I told her she better not expect anything for Christmas because for the first time I’ll all shopped out.

Good morning, Christmas Friends!

Yesterday was brutal, weatherwise. When I left work, it was 98F. Today won't be nearly as bad. We will have clouds and rain with a high of 87F.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!!!

I thought those days would never end. We had all three kids in college at the same time. $$$
