Our new furniture is being delivered today. it kinda feels like Christmas.

Good Friday morning Christmas Friends!

I am really looking forward to this weekend. I'm going to take Michelle shopping tomorrow. We've never been to Jefferson, GA so that's where we're headed. We love checking out towns we've never been to. then we're going to a friends house tomorrow evening to watch the Georgia-Clemson football game. Go Dawgs!!!

Last night we bought a new mattress set. So we'll get the guest room set back up now that our son has moved out again. And we need to get groceries some time soon. Should be a good weekend.

Good afternoon Christmas Friends!

We had a great time with friends watching the Georgia-Clemson game last night. Stayed up until about 12:30. But we still got up and went to church. And now we just got done eating a small lunch. I'll give Daisy a bath today and cut the grass tonight when it cools off a bit. It feels good knowing I don't have to go to work tomorrow.

I’m up way too early enjoying my coffee and the quiet. I got a Lakeside Collection Christmas catalog in a few days ago and I’m finally getting time to enjoy it, it’s the last big Christmas catalog that I get.

Hello Christmas Friends!

No posts yesterday. Let me tell you why. Sunday night I scratched my eye while removing one of my contacts. I woke up Monday morning with the reddest eye and tears flowing at about a gallon an hour. And it hurt. So I call the eye doctor's emergency number and she met me up at the clinic. Just an eye ulcer. She gave two meds and sent me on my way. Today it feels so much better. I'm working from home today and will see the doc tomorrow morning for a follow up.

She did give some other unrelated news Monday. While she was examining my eye she notice a blood vessel growing on my iris. Not supposed to be there.

Rubeosis iridis.
A medical condition of the iris of the eye in which new abnormal blood vessels (formed by neovascularization) are found on the surface of the iris.

Hopefully she caught it early enough and it's treatable.

Other than that, I'm doing great and I hope you are too!

Christmas Crazy glad your eye is better and they caught any problems you may have early. Hubby went to the eye doctor last week for a scratched eye. Thankfully he’s on the mend now. A few weeks ago he got burned..2nd and 3rd degree. it took 2 clinic trips and 2 trips to the hospital burn unit but he’s finally healed from that. For Christmas this year he’s getting a bubble to live in.

They delivered our new furniture Friday and my favorite new thing is my dining table. It’s fabulous! I can not wait to see it set for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Well, the doctor found another ulcer that formed overnight. She got worried and called in the main doctor, a friend of mine, and he took a look and said there's nothing to worry about. Just add a steroid to his treatment and by morning he won't know anything was wrong. And he was right. Within hours of the first drops my eye cleared up and stopped hurting. It's like nothing ever happened. I go back Friday for a recheck and to see if I can start wearing contacts again. PRAISE THE LORD!!!

And wouldn't you know it. The doctor forgot about the blood vessel and I forgot to say anything about it. I'll call tomorrow and see how we're going to proceed with that complication.
