I wrapped the rest of Michelle's Christmas presents last night and put them under the tree. Now I just need to get some things for her stocking. It is 64F right now and we will have lots of sunshine with a high of 76F. The big cool down begins after today. We should have one more warm spell before the cold weather settles in for the season.
It is chilly this morning, at 42F. We should see a high of 62F with lots of sunshine. I have a doctor's appointment this morning for my sinus infection, which I've been battling since July. One more round of meds, and hopefully, it will be gone. I want to be healthy for the holiday season.
Here’s my Christmas funny for the day. I have one of those cute number block Christmas countdowns. I change it every morning so I’ll have the correct countdown. Anyways I went to change it and it said 38 days until Christmas. That didn’t sound right so I double checked and sure enough I was off three days. So I spent some time thinking I was really loosing it and I mentioned it to my daughter. Apparently her and the dog were playing tennis ball when the wiped out my calendar. They put it back together and guessed the days. They’re pretty good guessers.
My cousin is traveling across Indiana this morning and sharing beautiful pictures of the snow they are getting. We’ve just got a cold wind blowing here.
Every year we sponsor an Angel from the school Angel Tree. We’ve bought for boys and girls. Usually in Elementary school. Last year our little guy was in Pre K. I always let them randomly pick one and just send the details. Well today we got our Angel. And she’s the same age as my daughter. And she has all the same wants as my teen. And every other teen girl has. It really floored me for a minute. A reminder that we are never truly grateful enough for those things we take for granted. We are honored to shop for this young lady and hope this helps give her a bright and Merry Christmas.
