Good morning Christmas Friends!

Not much going on today. Just work. We're supposed to get lots of rain, wind, and possibly some severe storms this afternoon. But I think most of the severity will remain south of us.

Have a wonderful and blessed day!!!

How much snow did you get @CandyKane?

Good morning Christmas Friends!

It will be just another work day from home. But at least I'm working. Tonight the Lightning square off against the Bruins at home. Go Bolts!

Today will be sunny with a high of 54F. Typical Mid-Georgia winter weather.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!

Happy Thursday Christmas friends!

We ended up with 8 inches of a heavy wet snow. It was worse on the electric system than they thought and right now our off again on again power is off again. I can’t complain too much because there are folks that have been without electricity since Tuesday and their only source of heat is electric. We’re blessed with electric central heat but we also have a wood furnace and propane. We’ve been using the wood furnace through all this and it’s actually what I prefer to use. Wood just keeps you so much warmer.

Feeding yesterday was an adventure. The main roads have been cleared but driving in the field was slip sliding fun. This heavy snow also brought lots of limbs and whole trees down. We had to cut out way through one spot. Hopefully it’ll melt enough so that we can spend the weekend repairing damaged fences. Even with all the extra work it’s brought you have to admire the beauty. Everything looks like a beautiful Christmas card outside.

Our forecast is now giving a freezing rain/sleet ice event for us next week. Praying they are wrong and if we have to get anything it will be more snow.

Happy Friday Christmas friends!

[CandyKane]

The power is on and it’s a beautiful sunshiny morning. The melting has already started. Hoping to get our wood supply replenished and some fence work done before the next round moves in Tuesday. The only good thing about Winter weather in late January and February is you can just see Spring on the horizon. It’s hard to believe we’re a month past Christmas already.

Good morning Christmas Friends!

It's finally Friday. Yay! I had a hot cup of coffee and some pumpkin bread for breakfast. So good! That should hold me until lunchtime. I need to start on my grocery list soon so Michelle can combine it with hers. She's so smart. She rewrites the list in order by aisles from the back of the store to the front. I don't know how she remembers where everything is. I'm just the meathead that pushes the buggy and pays the bill. LOL.

Have a merry and blessed day!!!
